Conversation Radio ShowsThe definition of Conversation in the dictionary is “The spoken exchange of thoughts, opinions, and feelings”; Traditional “talk” radio shows seldom engage in a conversation with the audience, the host is almost always consumed with his or her own voice, his or her own opinion, and his or her own view on the topic of the day. Talk Radio talks to people rather than with people. And many hosts are so authoritarian in their beliefs that they almost intimidate their listener or callers when they call open line shows. We at the Media On Tap Radio Network believe that there is strong evidence of a need to change the way radio approaches its audience. We have also observed that people want to experience the words of wisdom of expert hosts who connect with them at a deeper level. At MOT we want all of our hosts to engage and embrace the audience not alienate them. So you won’t find any “angry” talk show hosts on this channel, nor will you find any politically motivated hosts who desire to split rather than unite people for the common good. Here then is our answer to Talk Radio, “Conversation Radio”.
